While schools offer careers advice, it often lacks the depth and practical knowledge needed to truly prepare young people for the workplace. My experience in education has shown me that success is not just about passing exams or gaining qualifications it’s also about developing the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to thrive at work.
But it’s not only young people who benefit from clear, accessible guidance. Too often, employees of all ages are unsure of their rights, don’t know where to start with applications, or feel unprepared for interviews and workplace conversations. That’s why I’ve created a library of practical guides, templates, and fact sheets to help anyone, whether you’re starting out, changing careers, or simply wanting to feel more confident in your workplace rights.
I also provide one-to-one support and coaching, tailored to individual needs. For young people, this might include CVs, applications, interview preparation, and workplace expectations. For employees, it could mean understanding rights, making flexible working or reasonable adjustment requests, or preparing for career moves.
My goal is to make “education” about work accessible to everyone, because when you know your rights, feel prepared, and have the right tools, you can move forward with confidence.
Planting the first seeds of your career.

Alice shared her employability knowledge with sixth formers helping them create CVs showing their transferable skills developed through their volunteering or part-time jobs...her support was invaluable, allowing young people to create outstanding CVs and applications that demonstrate their suitability for a wide range of career options. Her knowledge and experience of recruitment processes is outstanding.
I’m so grateful for Alice’s support while I was deciding to apply for a teaching position at the school where I studied. She gave me valuable insight and encouragement, which really boosted my confidence. Alice helped me to think through my options and reminded me of my strengths, which made the whole process feel less daunting. Her guidance played a big part in me taking that step forward
I’m developing a growing library of practical resources designed to support both employees and job seekers. Here you’ll find clear fact sheets, step-by-step guides, and easy-to-use templates to help with everything from making employee requests to preparing strong job applications.
This library is here to make information accessible, empowering you to understand your rights, take action with confidence, and save time with ready-made tools.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you; feel free to email your suggestions so I can continue building resources that are genuinely useful for you.
